I appreciate these tips. I'll be 63 this summer when I take my first airplane trip. Haha. Going to NY city, my son is there. I'm nervous about flying but want to educate myself on what to expect. Thank you for these videos.

These are wonderful videos! Do you have any advice/liked video about international travel with kids? I am nervous about strollers/car seats/ foods to bring (ex: do grapes count as a liquid?) And especially curious about security lines with very large family. Thanks so much!

I would really discourage people from wearing boots or any type of heavy shoe in the airport. Due to one unfortunate event, I had to stand for 4 hours wearing the shoes that I arrived in. Fortunately, they were a new pair of Sketchers that I highly recommend. There was much running through the airport also. I would advise people to wear their best athletic shoe in anticipation of unplanned activity.

Just found your videos and this one started playing so i kept listening..i have traveled a lot and i see the flustered, confused and even scared travelers so to have someone explain this step by step is amazing. People don't understand that some people have NEVER traveled and this will help tremendously. Everyone has a first time and i can say this will help a lot of people. You are great! 🙂

Great suggestions here!! but I have a concern about you wearing leggings on the airplane with half legs uncover. Not a good choice here. Do you know that sometimes spider, or other kind of insects on a not good maintenance plane , could crawl in your legs and you could risk yourself of getting a bite and as a consequence, having a leg Infection , if not taking care of it properly .? It’s always a good safe suggestion to wear long pants on the plane and long socks for protection. My humble opinion here. I enjoy your recommendations very much. Thank you.

Love your channel!  Been watching to get tips and hacks on traveling with carry-on only. My first international trip is approaching.  I purchased a spinner carry-on luggage  with outer dimensions of (22.5" x 15.2" x 9.5") including handles and wheels.  I felt these were within the dimensions of the original airlines, which are (22" x 18" x 10).  My return airline has changed to Am. Airline once back in the US and their dimensions are smaller (22" x 14" x 9").  My question is…How strict are most airlines on their specified dimensions?  Do you think I'll pass the dimension sizer with the luggage I purchased?  I really do not want to check any luggage.

How about an interchange of flights, same airline, same terminal, just boarding different plane to reach final destination. One layover is only forty minutes. Does one have to go through security again?

Great ideal but I would never leave my travel documents in a suitcase pocket. They stay in my personal item on my body until I have boarded.
